As a Hireup user, you choose exactly when you’re available to work or when you’re looking for support. This is done by completing the availability calendar on your Hireup profile. Keeping this information up to date is really important. It makes finding the right match much easier. If you keep your availability up to date, you’ll only receive messages from people who are available at the same time.
Helping you find the right match through Hireup is important to us. The availability calendar is just one way to make this easier. If you haven’t updated your calendar recently, below is a step-by-step guide on how to find, update and save your availability on your profile calendar.
Click on the tab with your name in the top right corner and select “settings” from the drop-down list.
At the bottom of the list on the left hand side, click “Account”.
Scroll down until you find the availability calendar. Select whether or not you are looking for support (or work, depending on the kind of Hireup user you are). Then select which days and times you are available. Once you’ve made any changes, click the blue “save” button below the calendar.

After following steps 1 and 2, tick the “hide my profile” box at the top of the page. Don’t forget to click the “save” button below the box when you have finished making changes.
